E.L.F. Product Reviews, Pt 2!

Welcome to part two of my E.L.F. product reviews!

This baby is a life-saver. I use it every few days, whenever I feel like the spots on my chin are starting to look worse than usual. Pretty sure I have hormonal acne, so topical treatments only do so much good, but this has noticeably reduced redness and swelling on my spots on several occasions. It rolls on easily, dries quickly, and doesn't have a weird sticky or gel-like feeling like a lot of acne treatments do. The formula is a mix of tea-tree oil, witch hazel, salicylic acid, and camphor. I've had the stick for probably close to a year now and it's still going strong, so it has paid for itself many times over. Did I mention it's only $1???

I won't lie, I only use this minimally. I use a teeny bit to tame my eyebrows, and that's about it. I didn't notice a lot of difference when I used the clear mascara on my eyelashes, and both ends are the same formula as far as I can tell. So on the plus side, I have a large supply of eyebrow gel! So there's that. The brushes don't get clogged up, which is nice. It keeps my eyebrows in place, and again: only $1. It's a win.

That completes my E.L.F. product reviews! I hope that you found them informative and helpful, or at least a good tip-off about some cheap and effective makeup products! E.L.F. is usually running some sort of cool promotion on their site so definitely check it out, and even if they're not doing any promotion, it's still really affordable!

All opinions here are my own! I'm not receiving compensation of any kind for these reviews!

Thanks so much for reading, and feel free to leave ANY thoughts or suggestions in the comments :)

E.L.F. Product Reviews Pt. 1

Happy Friday! Today I thought I'd do a review of some of the products I've tried from the E.L.F. brand. Some I've had for a while, and some I've only had a chance to use a few times.
The brand is fairly well-known for its low prices and good quality. Most of their products are either $1 or $3 in the store. Their most expensive product (that I could find) being a 25-piece (!!) brush set, at $93. When you compare this to brands such as Mac and Sephora, even that's not a bad deal.

I don't have much experience with bronzer, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this. It's a bit more shimmery than I would like, meaning I have to be careful with my application or my whole face will look glittery! I tend to go for more of a matte look, so this isn't 100% my piece of cake. With that said, the colors blend together very easily, it's not too powdery, and if you like a little shimmer along with a subtle kiss of color, this would work beautifully for you.

This eyeliner is lovely. I use the black every single day! The super-thin brush is perfect for precise lines, and you can easily remove the excess liquid from the end just by scraping it along the edge of the container like you would with a nail polish. However, it's far too easy to remove--the first time I absentmindedly rub at my eyes, the makeup is gone. For $1 a bottle, I don't mind having to redo it a few times a day, but it would be nice if it lasted longer.
The gold is perfect for when I just want a hint of sparkle by my lashes. It's not as opaque as I anticipated it would be when I first saw it, but it works out anyway. Beautiful with a bit of jewel-colored eyeshadow!

Have you used any E.L.F. products? Do you have some favorites to share? I'd love to hear about them in the comment section below!

Look for my next post this coming week, reviewing my ELF Essential Zit Zapper, ELF Undereye Concealer & Highlighter, and ELF Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara! All opinions are my own and are not influenced by any outside force. I am not receiving compensation of any kind for this review :)
